Dana Posey

I can best be described as a determined, ambitious, intensely competitive and passionate person. I’ve committed my life to physical fitness and I’m constantly striving towards greater heights of both physical and mental fitness. I became involved in swimsuit, figure and fitness modeling in 2007 and immediately discovered it is one of my true passions. I feel at home in front of the camera and I can feel myself instantly feel alive. My future goals are to compete in more figure competitions, magazine prints and articles and possible fitness and swimsuit videos/commercials. I’m also an AFPA certified personal trainer helping others achieve their physical fitness goals.

A little bit more about me personally. I’ve been an athlete for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Boyle County, Kentucky where started playing high school basketball, track and cross country in the 4th grade. I’ve always maintained a healthy lifestyle and enjoyed teaching and helping others achieve their dreams. In 1996 I moved to Florida to attend Stetson University on a full basketball scholarship. I received my B.S. in Psychology then furthered my education at Rollins College where I received my M.A. in Human Resources Management. It is physical fitness and that lifestyle that is my true passion, however. Life is all about doing what you love and finding your true passion…what makes your heart sing? Life is too short and time is too valuable to not follow your dreams. I’m now content with my life as I feel I am finally reaching that point and found the courage and support to go after what I truly love.

Lastly, I would also like to take a moment to thank my wonderful husband, Hal, for all his support and love for my career. I could not be doing any of this without him.
